Alicia and Domanick are a true love story. I met them when I moved to Ohio in the 8th grade. They were dating back then. 15 years later, they are now married with 3 beautiful children. I was more than excited when they asked me to do their family photos. We had planned a beautiful daytime shoot at Squires Castle in Willoughby Hills, OH. Well, Mother Nature decided for us that we would be moving the shoot indoors. The snow/rain/cold was just too much to work in...so we set up in front of the fireplace at Alicia's mother's home. I am not a big fan of studio lighting, but we made the best of it and had a great time. Their children, Alayna, Delaney, and Tyson were 100% willing to do whatever I asked and we got some great shots!

The Moyers [Family Photographer - Painesville, Ohio]

My husband, the kids, and I are visiting family in New York for Thanksgiving and I was very excited when I was asked to photograph the Moyer's while I was in town. I don't get many opportunities to shoot larger families, so I was excited to see how things would turn out. We had such beautiful weather and the sunlight was perfect even though we did the shoot in the middle of the day. With a family of avid hunters, we were lucky to get them all in one place at the same time!

My baby boy is 3 today! His party is next Saturday, so we asked him what he would like to do for his birthday and he said "I want to play outside and ride my bicycle!" Easy enough!! We had a blast and we even made a scarecrow! Here are a few shots from the day. As you can see, he is no longer in the "Sure I'll look at the camera when you ask me to." stage. I did my best!!

Zachary - Sneak Peek

Zachary was by far the smallest little baby I have ever photographed (besides my own, of course.) His parents were very patient with me while I was coming up with a game plan for this shoot. I was in awe of how excellent his mommy looked after having a c-section less than 2 weeks prior! An absolutely sweet family with a gorgeous new addition!

I have never done a family shoot without children, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I was a little nervous about posing them and making them look cheesy. Thankfully, this family made things easy for me. I really didn't give much direction at all. They did everything naturally and the photos definitely reflect the mood. Thank you so much Michelle, Mike, Katlyn, Danny, Matt, and Michael for cracking me up throughout the whole shoot!! You guys are a beautiful family!

Brooklyn was born on September 10th and was 5 pounds 5 ounces, 18 inches long. I really haven't had time to do a real shoot with her, sadly. Here are some candids I snapped while she was in her swing yesterday. She is now 11 weeks old.

I am a 27 year old stay-at-home mom to one perfect little boy, who until I build a clientel, you will be seeing a lot of on here! Hence the header up there ^^! I must admit...he certainly is an adorable subject! I may be a bit biased, but he might be the most adorable subject ever!
